Should a romantic partner also really be a best friend?
And what does that mean for your other best friend? Find out this week in Outlouders Only.
That Bridgerton Sex Scene
Our Senior Entertainment Editor, Tara Watson, wrote about Bridgerton this week and had a lot to unpack after that revolutionary sex scene.
Everyone might be buzzing over the anticipated mirror scene in the latest season of Bridgerton — but they're talking about the wrong moment."
In fact, when Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) have sex in the second part of season three, there's so much more to discuss.
The sex scene goes down in episode five after Colin defends Penelope from her mother's cruel comments after she finds out that the two are engaged.
When Penelope and Colin are alone, they have sex for the first time. Not only is this sex scene much longer than any other in the series — running for a generous six minutes — it's one worth celebrating for multiple reasons.

Should you have sex with your best friend?
In this weeks subscriber episode, Holly, Mia and special guest Em Vernem sat down to unpack all things relationships and friendship dynamics. They discussed the different roles the most important people in our lives play, who’s at the top of the leaderboard (in true Mia style), what you share with your partner versus your best friend, and Em reveals what it feels like to see a best friend give ‘bestie credit’ to their boyfriend… ouch!
Is it unfair for your friends if you also call your romantic partner your best friend? Let us know in our ‘Outlouders Only’ group.
This feels like the world’s biggest tease…
One month after Meghan Markle launched the instagram site for her brand American Riviera Orchard, three of her close friends shared the first look at it’s small-batch strawberry jam.
Meghan is still yet to officially release these products into the marketplace with the official website asking users to enter their email and join the waitlist. She has however hinted at the type of products that American Riviera Orchard will be selling in the future.
According to TMZ, Meghan filled her trademark applications for the brand back in early February. She submitted them in multiple categories including cookbooks, tableware, coffee and tea services, jellies, jams, tablecloths, cookbooks, servingware, cutlery, spreads of all kinds, and lots more.
This month, Markle’s friend Nacho Figueras shared a new raspberry-flavoured jam in his Instagram Stories and a jar of dog biscuits alongside his dog. It seems she has big plans for her brand!
We unpacked the seemingly ongoing brand release and Mia had some great Lady Startup advice for dear Meghan.
Holly’s recommendation - Inside Out 2
Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a successful operation by all accounts. However, when Anxiety shows up, they aren't sure how to feel.
Holly says:
I took my kids to the movies on Saturday at the earliest opportunity to see Inside Out 2. It is so good. It has an amazing cast featuring Amy Pohler and Maya Hawke. In this sequel, it’s puberty’s turn to join alongside a whole lot of other emotions. It’s a beautiful exploration in a point in a child’s life and gives you language and tools to talk about things and i really enjoyed it.
Em V’s Recommendation: Exposure on Stan
Exposure is a psychological thriller which follows a photographer returning to her hometown after the death of her best friend, who discovers the hidden secrets of their relationship and the truth of the tragedy.
Em V Says:
I’ve watched the first 3 episodes and it’s brilliant it. It’s lead by an all female team, the director, producer, creator and lead actor are all women.
It’s very dark and has thriller elements to it. The main character has what the creator Lucy Colman describes as a burning rage towards men but also a desperation to be validated by them.

Mia’s Recommendation - Please, Please, Please by Sabrina Carpenter
Listen to the newest song by Sabrina Carpenter here.
Mia says:
My recommendation is a song and it’s such an earworm song! It’s not just a song, it’s a hard launch of her relationship with Barry Keoghan. I love the lyric “i’m begging you don’t embarrass me motherf*cker”. She’s like a Polly Pocket, she’s great and the song is a good bop! Listen here

Grief has no time for your bullshit
You know grief has no time for fancy words and clever jokes. In fact, it hasn't a lot of time for words, full-stop. It's a full-body experience that can change you on every level.
No-one wants to talk about death, except for our guest: interfaith minister, author and death-walker Dr Jackie Bailey. Jackie has experienced a great deal of loss, and she spends her life walking others through it, helping people prepare for it, and acknowledging it when it happens.
And if you think that makes for a depressing interview, you'd be wrong. Jackie is insightful, wise and funny, full of both practical and emotional support for the grieving. She's the perfect person to help us through the hard parts.

In this episode of No Filter, Mia talks to Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith about the 7 different kinds of rest that will prevent you from burning out and help you show up to your life with all the energy you need.
