Swap out a jacket. Try a different shoe. Tuck in. Tuck out.
This week, Mia wrote this article about her daily outfit selfies, how they have helped her get dressed more thoughtfully and why. She writes:
“Looking back, I can see some themes (the most expensive items in my wardrobe aren’t the ones I wear the most) and I can also try to break down why certain outfits just don’t feel or look right. In the moment, that can be harder.”
We know our Outlouder’s love a good fit check so if you’re interested in a bit of style inspo or perhaps just a pervy look into Mia’s wardrobe you can read all about it here.
Mamamia Out Loud is free. And if you love the show, we would love you to support the work we do here. We make two extra segments each week for paid Mamamia subscribers so we would pash you (not really, but in our hearts) if you subscribed...

Host of Mamamia’s True Crime Conversations and Journalist Gemma Bath joined us this week to unpack all the details that ultimately left us asking… are we all guilty of a little bit of our own internalised misogyny due to years of a ‘Team Jen’ ‘Team Ange’ debate?

Would you give your ex boyfriend a performance review?
This week Mia, Holly and Em stumbled across an Australian woman who gave her ex boyfriend a performance review a week after they broke up. This got us thinking… there’s probably some ex boyfriends we wouldn’t mind giving a performance review or improvement plan to.

Rodent boyfriends and billionaire ex-wives
ICYMI, the hottest trend for women in 2024 is *checks notes* … ‘A Rodent Boyfriend’ confused? same.
According to our resident Gen Z Em Vernem, the idea of the rodent boyfriend has been around for a while (yep, really) but it found its place in society when the film Challengers hit our screens. Em V writes:
The rodent boyfriend is someone who has rat-like features. Think sharp angles, pointy noses, small mouths. They're also small built and have "scurrying" tendencies.
Rodent men are the type we find extremely attractive but we can't really put a finger on what it is exactly... until now.
